Absolutely amazing vegan food! Best on the east side of Cleveland. Only open Thursday through Sunday. Offers carryout and has a small seating area.

EAT HERE NOW. Thank me later. :) The mushroom scallops are so delicious that I almost wept with joy. But then again, everything is amazing. The rotating menu is constantly creative, preparation is top notch, food is deeply flavorful, service is kind and gracious. Other faves include the hearty kale harvest bowl and Bangkok tacos. Let go of your preconceptions of vegan food, and just sit back and enjoy.

Loved it! One of the best vegan restaurants I've come across lately, definitely the best option in Cleveland. A warm, cozy space with delectable flavors and options! Folks working there were nice too!

I was a bit surprised to learn via Google that there was a vegan place in Cleveland Heights I'd never heard of, so I naturally had to check it out. Definitely a smaller joint that seems to get a lot of take-out business, but there were a few tables inside and two outside. The server was lovely, and entertained our indecision on what to get. The curried cauliflower bites were what you'd expect; pleasantly fried cauliflower, although I wish the sauce was a little more curry forward. The general Tso stir fry was also a classic, if a bit sweet for my taste. I particularly enjoyed the bevy of vegetables in the Sha Cha stir fry noodles as well. They also had vegan mooncakes, which was a lovely touch for the mid-autumn festival. All-in-all, a solid vegan spot. The flavors here are a tad delicate for my taste, but the neighborhood vibes and the friendly service would definitely have me coming back. Plus, their merch operation featuring many sloth stuffed animals is pretty epic.

Best vegan spot in Cleveland! The owners were incredibly friendly, and since I was dining alone, they came over to chat with me. The vegan egg was a standout, as it's rare to find such a great "egg" substitute since going vegan. The cake was also delicious. I love Foodhisattva.

Out of this world amazing vegan food! The daikon cakes are gorgeously plated and incredibly full of flavor. The salad I had was full of healthy ingredients like coconut bacon, cilantro's house made "egg"c lettuce, and carrots with pickled onion. Unique Asian vegan food here in a super tiny hole in the wall place. Must try for healthy food even if you're not vegan!

This is a cool little store front spot. It has a few seating options. The service is good and so was the food. It was very tasty and the place if you are not familiar with it initially has you question if you are in the right spot. And you are. Good food for a reasonable price with a good portion served.

Me and my wife recently came here while we were in the area. It's been on her bucket list for a while, this place was small upon coming in for a dine in experience but this little place is busy with tons of take out orders. I settled for the chicken wings they had and their Thai Tea, that was absolutely delicious and refreshing to have. Prices are very fair! Service was friendly, wait times were reasonable too. Very great experience! Highly recommend!

We stayed overnight in the area and searched for a restaurant that offered vegan food for delivery. Foodhisattva's name and menu caught our eye. I selected the Bangkok Tacos, and my partner selected the True Tacos. Our delivery time was 40 minutes when we placed our order, and that's what it ended up being. Each order contained 3 tacos, which was plenty filling. I loved the Bangkok! The flour tortillas were filled with curry cauli bites, spicy slaw, chili sauce, cilantro, and peanuts. What a yummy fusion of flavors! My partner wished he got the Bangkok after tasting mine, but his more traditional True Tacos were good too. The tortillas contained taco crumble, cashew cheese, lettuce, onion, jalapeños, and tomatoes. I can't speak to the ambiance since we ordered delivery, but based on the food alone, we'd be regulars if we lived in the area.

I'm not familiar with the area, but the frequent police sirens and general aesthetic of this restaurant's immediate surroundings did not suggest that I'd made a great decision in coming here. However, it was a small but pleasant shop indoors, with various vegan grocery items available as well as a diverse restaurant menu. This is a full-on vegan place, with pictures of a farm animal sanctuary on the wall and a name that seems intended to evoke Hindu mythology. I got a good quality tea and let it steep before digging into some chickpea fries. You hear this and think "isn't that called falafel?", but these are french fry-shaped and had their own unique taste, enhanced by a bright chili powder if you order spicy. My banh mi came with ample tofu and a variety of mostly pickled vegetables that made a bit of a soggy mess, but a tasty one. They seemed to be doing some staff training, and were working hard (though a little "don't stare at the customer while he's eating" training might help). They're bringing something worthwhile to Cleveland, though.
